Built on service, driven by progress
At Pentagon, our story is shaped by a long-standing commitment to quality, service and supporting the needs of local customers. Since opening our doors in 1977, we've grown steadily to become one of Jersey’s leading suppliers for building materials, interiors and home improvement solutions.
What began as a small operation on Clairvale Road quickly grew. Within six months, we moved to Belvedere Hill and Bagot Road – the first step in creating the foundations for future expansion.
In 1982, we extended into Rue des Pres Trading Estate to better serve trade and retail customers with more space and a broader product range. By 1993, we built Pentagon House – a purpose-designed drive-through warehouse and office hub that became the centre of our operations.
Expanding into interiors and paint
As customer needs evolved, so did we. In 2012, we launched our dedicated Design Studio showroom on Bagot Road, offering stylish interiors and expert advice in one welcoming space. The Paint Centre followed in 2015, giving customers access to a full range of high-quality paints and colour-matching services.
In 2016, we launched Pentagon West – a specialist Builders Merchant created to support customers in the western region. Demand quickly outgrew the site, and by 2017, we relocated to a larger, more efficient drive-through warehouse within the same estate.
Welcoming a heritage brand
Growth continued in 2019 with the acquisition of Andersons, a heritage company dating back to 1825. This brought new expertise into the group and expanded our offering even further. That same year, we launched Pentaglaze, a specialist service providing premium glazing solutions.
Dedicated fixing solutions
In 2022, we opened Pentafix Les Quennevais, offering tailored fixing products and technical support. Two years later, we proudly opened Pentafix Town, making our fixing expertise even more accessible to customers across the island.
